What is the difference between Google Adwords and Google Adsense?

Advertisers that want to place ads on web sites will use Google Adwords in order to purchase advertising space on various web sites that display ads from Google Adsense. Google Adsense is a program where publishers make space available on their web sites for ads. Those ads are served up by Adwords. Adsense is the typical way bloggers and other site owners make money with their sites. Professional Internet Marketers consider it to be a starting point and they usually leave Adsense after a short period of time. The primary issue is that very little control can be exercised as to what ads are shown in the ad zones made available to Adsense.

This blog is not currently using Google Adsense.
